The Bears are dealing with a fresh injury concern at tight end.
Colston Loveland was limited in Friday's practice at Halas Hall because of a neck injury, marking his first appearance on an injury report in more than a year. The timing comes as Loveland's role in the passing game was growing. He has caught 13 passes for 134 yards and two touchdowns after a quiet start to the season.
Running back Kyle Monangai will miss a fourth straight game against Seattle with a toe injury after sitting out practice again Friday. Before the injury, Monangai had run for 324 yards and three touchdowns through four games, working behind D'Andre Swift. At cornerback, Tyrique Stevenson practiced through a hamstring issue, while Malik Muhammad was limited by a toe problem. Both were listed ahead of Monday's matchup with the Seahawks.
General manager Ryan Poles said the team is working to help Cole Kmet return to "original form" and "the best version of himself" after a knee injury ended the tight end's season. Kmet's contract includes an affordable out for 2027. Separately, the NFL fined quarterback Caleb Williams $23,882 for wearing Caddix cleats against New England last week, twice the amount he was charged for wearing them against Atlanta.
