A. Duie Pyle has completed two expansion projects, adding a 78,760-square-foot warehouse in Hampden Township, Pennsylvania, and a 44-door service center in West Chester Township, Ohio. The Chester County-based company, which has been family-owned since 1924, now operates in 15 states.

The new Pennsylvania facility at 485 Terminal St. sits next to the company’s existing less-than-truckload service center. The company stated in a press release that this combination creates a fully integrated logistics center. The setup allows warehousing and transportation operations to share a single campus. This design aims to reduce handoffs and provide customers with direct connectivity to Pyle’s transportation network.

Frank Granieri, the company’s Chief Commercial Officer, said the new arrangement connects inventory and transportation under one roof. He noted that the investment helps reduce touchpoints and improves coordination. The facility provides access to major freight corridors, including Interstates 81, 76, and 83, as well as U.S. Route 15. The company indicated that the location serves industries requiring just-in-time replenishment, such as health care, medical supplies, and manufacturing.

In Ohio, Pyle opened a new service center to extend its direct less-than-truckload network into southwest Ohio. The company said the facility strengthens freight connections between Ohio, the Northeast, and the Mid-Atlantic. The location is positioned to support regional manufacturing, distribution, and supply chain activity. It provides businesses in the greater Cincinnati area with broader access to Pyle’s direct service network.

Granieri stated that the Cincinnati location gives the company an important presence in southwest Ohio. He said the new site extends direct service to more customers while strengthening connections to established markets. The new Ohio service center is expected to add 21 jobs initially. The company plans to employ about three dozen people by the end of the year. Additional hiring is anticipated as shipment volumes increase.

Pyle announced the groundbreaking for an integrated warehouse and service center near the Port of Virginia in Suffolk earlier this year. The company is headquartered in West Goshen, Chester County. It offers integrated transportation and distribution services, including less-than-truckload, contract dedicated, warehousing, and brokerage solutions.
