Inés 'N' will face three arrest warrants the moment she arrives in Mexico, according to the Attorney General's Office. The agency confirmed this plan on Monday after the former television host was taken into custody in Miami, Florida, on October 30. US immigration authorities currently hold her, and they must decide whether to deport her before the Mexican prosecutor can execute the warrants.

The current detention stems from her immigration status rather than the specific crimes she faces in Mexico. The Attorney General clarified that if the United States approves her deportation, Mexican officials will move immediately. The Attorney General's Office has been seeking her since she left the country. In September 2025, they requested a provisional detention for extradition purposes. They worked with the US Department of Justice to formalize the request and recently shared the active warrants with American authorities.

Three federal judges in Mexico issued the warrants. One warrant comes from the Specialized Prosecutor's Office for Organized Crime. It alleges probable participation in organized crime and money laundering. The other two warrants were requested by the Specialized Prosecutor's Office for Competence Control. They charge her with tax fraud. This legal category treats certain financial misreporting as a form of defrauding the state.

Inés 'N' and her husband, Víctor Manuel Álvarez Puga, are linked to an alleged scheme involving the diversion of public funds. The investigation points to simulated contracts, the use of shell companies, and money laundering. Prosecutors say Inés 'N' received illicit funds in her personal accounts. These funds allegedly came from the decentralized administrative organ in charge of federal penitentiaries. The agency's budget supports the security of the prison system. The money reportedly moved through phantom firms that used contracts with that organ to hide the funds' destination.

The prosecutor's office also alleges that Inés 'N' reported lower income than she actually earned in the 2014 and 2016 tax years. This discrepancy resulted in unpaid taxes exceeding 13 million pesos. The agency noted that Mexican courts will determine her responsibility based on the presumption of innocence and due process.
