Paris Saint-Germain is moving to keep Desire Doue through contract talks.
The 21-year-old France international has drawn interest from Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester City, and Bayern Munich. TEAMtalk reports that all four clubs are actively monitoring the winger's situation. PSG is currently progressing negotiations for a new deal that would secure the player's future beyond 2029. This extension effort places an obstacle in the path of the prospective buyers.
Juventus has identified a different priority for the upcoming January window. Tuttosport states that the club views Monaco striker Folarin Balogun as its top target. The 25-year-old USMNT international is expected to leave Monaco after a summer transfer to Everton fell through for a fee of 40 million euros. Juventus also keeps Alexander Sorloth of Atletico Madrid and Antonio Raimondo of Frosinone as alternative options.
Chelsea has redirected its focus toward AFC Bournemouth midfielder Alex Scott. Florian Plettenberg notes that the Blues are targeting the 23-year-old England international after a failed summer attempt. Liverpool is also interested in bringing Scott together with manager Andoni Iraola. Bournemouth is looking to AZ Alkmaar's Kees Smit and Lazio's Kenneth Taylor as potential replacements.
Brighton & Hove Albion midfielder Yasin Ayari has attracted attention from Chelsea, AC Milan, Galatasaray, and Fenerbahce. The 23-year-old Sweden international has a contract that expires this summer, though Brighton holds a one-year option to extend it. This clause has created uncertainty regarding his long-term status at the club.
Former Manchester United winger Jadon Sancho has rejected an offer from Getafe. Marca reports that the 26-year-old free agent received a lucrative proposal from Saudi Arabia. Sancho had asked for a net salary of 3 million euros through the end of the season, a figure that exceeded Getafe's financial capacity.
Scouts from Chelsea, Manchester City, Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur, and Newcastle United watched Club Brugge striker Nicolò Tresoldi score a hat-trick against Sint-Truiden. Bayern Munich is evaluating Juventus loanee Nick Woltemade as a backup for Harry Kane. Manchester United has shifted its January priorities toward strengthening its defensive unit.
