Klum Wears Giant Hand to 25th Party

Heidi Klum appeared in a giant, severed hand costume at her New York Halloween party on Saturday. The event marks the 25th anniversary of her annual celebration. Klum was unrecognizable, with only her eyes and mouth visible. Blood dripped from her mouth as she stuck her tongue out. The top of the hand featured dangling ligaments and tendons. Helpers in blood-stained hazmat suits assisted her.

Klum conceived the idea last year. She wanted to wear her own left hand. The costume included long red nails, a thumb ring, her engagement ring, and her wedding band. Klum said she looked at her hand and thought she could fit her body inside it. She posted hints on Instagram earlier in the day. The posts showed bloodied prosthetics being applied to her face.

The outfit required five to six hours to apply. Klum noted that the construction took much longer. She described the costume as quite heavy. She called carrying it the hardest part of the process. Her husband, musician Tom Kaulitz, missed the event due to a tour. His name appeared as a tattoo on her ring finger. The design also included her palm lines and veins. Klum said a little bit of Tom is with her.

Klum first went viral in 2022. She arrived at the party on a fishing line. She wore a slithering worm costume. Past costumes include the Greek myth Medusa. She also dressed as a peacock. She wore an 8-foot-tall Transformer. She played a werewolf from Michael Jackson’s Thriller. She appeared as a clone with lookalikes. She portrayed Kali, the Hindu goddess of death.
