A 40-year-old man from east Jerusalem was found dead in the Wadi Rahal area near Bethlehem on Monday. Police, forensic investigators, and soldiers arrived at the scene to collect evidence. The body is scheduled for transfer to the Abu Kabir Forensic Institute to determine the cause of death. Initial assessments suggest the incident was a criminal matter rather than an act of terror.

In Rahat, police officers rescued a man found chained to the floor of a home during a weekend operation to locate illegal weapons. His leg was shackled to the ground when officers discovered him. Preliminary findings indicate family members restrained him due to his drug use. The man's brother was arrested and taken to the local police station for questioning.

Security forces also arrested three suspects during overnight raids in Bethlehem on Sunday night. One suspect, a Palestinian resident, is allegedly affiliated with Hamas. Officers searched the homes of the Hamas suspect and another resident suspected of possessing weapons. Confiscated items included a loaded hunting rifle, IDF uniforms, and various technological devices. The two suspects were transferred to the Ma'ale Adumim police station to face charges for possessing illegal weapons and military equipment.

Police and Border Police officers discovered a large cache of stolen IDF weapons in Kalansuwa, a majority-Arab city in central Israel, on Sunday. The find included one Kalashnikov rifle, three M-16 assault rifles, eight handguns, six fragmentation grenades, two stun grenades, three tactical vests, and thousands of rounds of ammunition. A police explosives expert handled the grenades at the scene. Two family members present during the raid were arrested and questioned as part of an ongoing investigation into violent crime in the Arab sector.

A man in his 30s was also arrested near Hebron on Sunday. Officers found him in possession of a hunting rifle and a large amount of ammunition. These actions are part of a larger initiative to reduce violent crime in the region.
