Thaddea Graham will be recognized at the 21st annual Oscar Wilde Awards, a ceremony honoring figures in Irish arts.

The US-Ireland Alliance confirmed the announcement on Wednesday. The event is scheduled for March 11, 2027, at the Ebell in Los Angeles. This timing places the ceremony three days before the Academy Awards. The organization presents the awards to Irish and non-Irish individuals who contribute to film, television, and music.

Graham, 29, is set to receive the Wilde Card Award. Trina Vargo, the alliance president, described the category as being given to talent the public should expect to see more of. Past recipients of this specific honor include Saoirse Ronan, Barry Keoghan, Sarah Bolger, and Eve Hewson. Jack Reynor was named an honoree in October. The Irish synth-pop artist Shobsy will also perform at the event.

Graham gained prominence on Netflix's Sex Education and Apple TV+ series Bad Sisters. She starred as the personal assistant to George Clooney's character in Noah Baumbach's Jay Kelly, released in 2025. Her most recent role places her as the roommate of Elle Fanning's character in Margo's Got Money Troubles. She is currently working with director Luca Guadagnino on the upcoming film Artificial. Garfield plays OpenAI CEO Sam Altman in that production.

The actress was found as an infant on the steps of a building in Changsha, China. She was adopted at 13 months and brought to County Down. Her parents made her one of the first Chinese-born children adopted in Northern Ireland. Graham has spoken about the role of kindness in her upbringing. She told The London Times in April that she would not be here without the help of strangers. She cited her parents, teachers, and a primary school educator who continues to celebrate Chinese New Year in her honor.

Shobsy completed a tour across the U.K. and Europe in 2025. He performed at an Irish music industry showcase in July at the Dublin residence of President Catherine Connolly. The singer recently released the EP The World Will Not Remember. The project includes the new single Perfect.
