Teacher Comedy: Bored Teachers Arrives at Rialto Square Theatre

The Bored Teachers comedy tour arrives in Joliet on Saturday, November 14.

Bored Teachers has operated in the comedy space for nearly a decade. According to a news release from the theatre, the group has accumulated more than 1 billion views and over 10 million followers. They also host a podcast dedicated to teacher humor.

Since 2022, the team has performed for more than 200,000 teachers worldwide. They have sold out over 200 theaters across 49 states, five countries, and three continents. The current run is part of the 'Is It Friday Yet?!' tour, which launched in January 2026.

The show features new material designed for audiences with experience in education. The performance targets those who have worked in schools, taught lessons, or attended parent-teacher conferences. The group describes the event as a night of laughter and solidarity for that demographic.
